Dr. Kevin F. Mosca D.O.
Dr. Kevin Mosca is a board-eligible plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He graduated from The Rutgers University Honors College in 2004, earning a dual bachelor’s degree from Rutgers and New Jersey Institute of Technology. He then went on to do two years of medical research developing a digital brain analyzation tool to study the cells involved in Alzheimer’s Disease at The Center for Neuroscience Research at Rutgers before pursuing a medical degree in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Mosca earned his Doctor of Osteopathy degree at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2010 and then went on to complete a six year combined general surgery/plastic and reconstructive surgery residency at The Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine from 2010-2016. He was only the second DO resident to ever be accepted into this accelerated program. He served as chief intern from 2010-2011 and as chief fellow in plastic surgery from 2015-2016. During his training, Dr. Mosca worked under nationally recognized surgeons throughout the New York/New Jersey/Pennsylvania area at such prestigious institutions as Memorial Sloan Kettering in Manhattan, Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, The Nathan-Spear Burn Center at Crozer Chester Medical Center, and The Reading Medical Center with Pennsylvania Hospital staff amongst many others. Dr. Mosca is experienced in all areas of plastic and reconstructive surgery and does not specialize in any one area but prefers to focus more so on cosmetic and breast reconstruction surgery.
Dr. Mosca relocated to south Florida at the end of his training to pursue his passion for cosmetic surgery where it flourishes most. He is currently credentialed at the Boca Raton Surgery Center and the Surgery Center of Broward. Dr. Mosca is a current member of the American Osteopathic Association and The American College of Osteopathic Surgeons. He is licensed to practice medicine in Florida and Pennsylvania.
